Mortal Kombat: Aftermath Kollection | Out: Tuesday 26th May
Aftermath builds on the already content-rich package that was the original Mortal Kombat 11. New storylines and stages, returning fan favourites (characters, stage Fatalities) and the presence of sci-fi icon RoboCop makes for a compelling expansion. Newcomers can buy both game and expansion together.
Minecraft Dungeons | Out: Tuesday 26th May
As the name suggests, this offshoot of Mojang’s ultra-popular building sim focuses on dungeon crawling. Trek solo or with friends into the dark heart of underground lairs, battling beasties and collecting loot as you go. A super fun and family friendly introduction into a genre popularised by the likes of Diablo.
Warface: Breakout | Out: Tuesday 26th May
Just announced and launched today, Breakout is a new, standalone competitive PvP shooter in the Warface franchise. Inspired by Counter-Strike, the game’s launch edition comes with five maps and 30 realistic weapons to get to grips with. More content is due over the coming months.
Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling | Out: Thursday 28th May
The promise of immortality compels three insectoid adventurers to set out on a quest across the vast kingdom of Bugaria. Colourful characters, dangerous foes and turn-based combat await in this eye-catching RPG. Use each hero’s unique skills to tag-team your way to victory in battles and uncover secrets and side-quests in an explorable overworld.
